1. Viscosity and drying speed of ink

In addition, when the environment is too wet, the ink dispersion becomes poor, and the printing plate cylinder is not easy to scrape clean. 2. The influence of impurities such as hard sand and dust

if there are hard particles in the ink, the printing plate cylinder is easily scratched by hard particles when scraping, which will affect the quality of printing products in the industry, or cause the scrapping of the printing plate cylinder. In addition, the impurities on the surface of the substrate are also easily mixed into the ink, which accumulates too much for a long time and easily damages the plate cylinder, so it is often necessary to keep the substrate and ink clean as far as possible. In order to remove foreign matters, the ink in the ink tank can be filtered regularly or metal wires can be inserted into the ink recycling system for continuous filtration. Dust in the environment, whether falling into the ink or adsorbed on the embossing cylinder, will directly damage the scraper and the layout

the impure substances, coarse particles and foreign matters in the ink are mainly caused by the following factors:

(1) the foreign matters mixed in the ink or the additives in the ink precipitate with the temperature change, and the pigments agglutinate, which can produce coarse particles

(2) foreign matters in the Department are brought in by the film. When the dust adsorbed by the film due to static electricity and the additives in the film precipitate more into the ink, foreign matters are formed. Especially when the workshop is too dry, the film is easy to absorb dust due to static electricity. First, with the help of external force, the jaw is pushed, which will affect the service life of the printing plate cylinder

(3) when using pigments with high hardness, even through mixing, knife lines may be caused. If the pigments used in red and blue inks are difficult to grind, knife lines are relatively easy to occur

(4) the dust in the outside air inhaled by the drying system or the air duct is not cleaned for a long time

3. Aggressiveness of ink

some inks, such as black ink, have certain aggressiveness to the printing plate cylinder, so they should be cleaned in time after use

4. Chemical factors

a certain amount of active agent is added in the production process of ink. If the activity of ink or plate cylinder is too high, the active substance will adhere firmly during the printing process, and the installation speed will be faster. On the plate cylinder, the scraper is difficult to scrape completely, so the scraper pressure has to be improved, which will affect the service life of the plate cylinder. At this time, the printing plate cylinder can be cleaned. After removing the attached active substances on the printing plate cylinder, adding a special surfactant into the ink will achieve a significant effect. If the surfactant is added before printing, it can play a preventive role
